Our company, Savanadurga Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited, is set up in Motaganahalli. We are located at the house of Ravikumar R in Solur Hobli. It is a very local setup. We are mostly farmers or people who have grown up around farms. Being out here in the village makes sense for us because that is where the work is. We don't have a glass building in the city. We have a room where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the crops. The air is better out here than in Bangalore. You might see some tractors or cattle walking past the door while we are working. It is a simple life and a simple business. We help each other out with the organic farming stuff. Ravikumar's place is well known in the village, so it is easy for the other producers to find us. We don't use any fancy business talk. We talk about the rain, the soil, and the prices we are getting. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we make do. We just do our thing and don't feel the need to brag about it. We just want to keep the farming community going. If you come visit, you won't find a lobby or a receptionist. Just some people sitting around a table getting things done for the local farmers. It is hard work, but we are used to it by now.
