Pioneer Computer'S

Pioneer Computer'S is located right on the main road in Batawadi, specifically in Shop No 1 of the Ibbany Niliyadeverayapatna building. It’s a small shop, but we make the most of the space we have. The main road is always loud with buses and bikes zooming past, so we keep the door closed most of the time to hear ourselves think. We have shelves filled with different parts and cables that have been there since we opened. Sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room, but we always manage to find what we’re looking for. There’s a small workbench in the back where most of the actual work happens. It’s usually covered in tools and small screws that are easy to lose if you aren’t careful. We don’t have a cleaning crew or anything, so we just sweep up ourselves at the end of every day. People stop by all the time asking if we can fix things right then and there. Sometimes we can, sometimes it takes a few days. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the equipment. It’s a simple life here in Batawadi. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know our faces and we know theirs. It's a busy spot but we like the energy of the main road right outside our door.
