Flora English School

We are located at 4Th Main 10Th Cross in the Sadashiva Nagar area of Tumkur. It’s just a regular English school for the kids in this part of town. The building is easy to find if you know the cross streets. We have been here for a good while now and most of the neighbors know us. The morning starts early when the gates open and the parents bring their children. You’ll see the school buses and the bikes lined up on 4Th Main. It gets a bit busy and loud during that time but that’s just how schools are. Our classrooms are plain but they have enough space for everyone to sit and work. We don’t have fancy equipment or a big stadium. There is a small area where the children can play during their breaks. The teachers are local people who have been with us for years. They know the kids and their families. We just try to get through the lessons every day and make sure the children are doing their work. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the summer but we keep them running. After the kids go home at four, the whole place gets really quiet. We don’t do any big advertisements or have a shiny office. It’s just a practical place for learning. We focus on the basics and keep things moving. That is how we’ve always done it here.
