My name is Banwari Sharma and I've been doing this for a long time, since 1993 actually. Most people just know me by my name around here at the C.I.S.F. R.T.C. quarters. I live at Q. No. 10 in the first block. It isn't a big shop or anything fancy, just me working out of my place. I started this because I needed a way to support my family and I knew how to handle things. Sometimes it gets busy, other days are quiet. People stop by when they need something done. I don't have a big team or fancy trucks. It’s just me and sometimes a neighbor helps out if the job is too big for one person. I try to get things done right the first time so people don't have to come back twice. The quarters here are pretty easy to find once you get inside the main gate. I've seen a lot of changes in the area over the last thirty years. My kids grew up here while I was working. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon as long as I can still get around. If you’re looking for me, just ask for Banwari at the first quarters. I usually have my door open during the day unless I'm out on a call. It's a simple life but it works for us. I appreciate everyone who has stuck with me for all these years. The area has changed so much since 1993. I remember when there were fewer buildings and more open space. Now it is all busy and loud, but this is home for us. We've seen a lot of people come and go.
