Sri Sivasakthi Traders

We are located at 245 in Kalampur, over in the Polur area. Sri Sivasakthi Traders has been my life for a long time now. We deal in various goods, mostly things that farmers and local builders might need. It’s a bit of a mix, really. One day I’m selling cement bags, and the next it’s rolls of wire or tools. The yard gets quite messy with all the supplies coming in. Polur is a quiet place for the most part, which suits me fine. I have an old truck that we use for local deliveries. It rattles a lot, but it gets the job done. I usually start my day at six to get things ready before the sun gets too hot. My brother handles the paperwork while I talk to the customers. We’ve had this spot for two generations now. The walls could use a new coat of paint, I suppose. There’s an old banyan tree just outside where people wait for the bus. It gives us some nice shade in the afternoon. We don't have a computer system, just some big notebooks where we write everything down. It’s the way we know how to work. People trust us because they’ve known us forever. That means more than any advertisement. We just keep working hard every day. The roof leaks a tiny bit in the corner when the monsoon is heavy, so we move the cement bags away from there.
