Indra Catering Services

We have been operating out of No 41 in Seetha Lakshmi Nagar for a good while now. Kalai Nagar West is where we do most of our daily cooking and prep work. Indra Catering Services isn't some big fancy corporation, just a few local people making food for others in the community. Folks around the Madurai Reserve Lines area usually find us by word of mouth. It gets pretty hectic in the kitchen, especially on the weekends when multiple events are happening at once. We handle all the heavy cooking and the packing right here on the premises. It is mostly family working here along with some help from the neighborhood. Sometimes the phone just rings off the hook and other days we are just doing quiet prep work for the next week. We try to keep things organized but a busy kitchen is always a bit of a mess until the shift ends. If you walk past the house, you will probably smell whatever we are stirring in the pots that day. We do not have a big storefront with bright lights or anything. It is just the house and the work we do inside. We have seen this whole neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. My kids even grew up around here while we were slowly building this up. There is always a lot of cleaning to do after an order finally goes out. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure it reaches the event. That is all.
