The Mobile Store

We are down in Bangalore, specifically in the Jolly Mohalla area. Our place is on Cart Stand Road, door number 197. It is a very old part of the city and it feels like it. You can hear the sounds of the busy market and the vehicles honking all day long. The shop is not huge at all. We have been here for several years now. We handle mobile phones and all the small accessories that go with them. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases. We have a few technicians who sit at the back with their small tools. They are usually busy with soldering or replacing old batteries. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of electronics and the coffee from the shop next door. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge or anything like that. We just have a few plastic stools for customers to use. It is a straightforward business. We talk to people, hear their issues with their devices, and try our best to fix them. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and talk about the weather or the local news. Other days, it is a constant stream of people coming in. We definitely prefer the busy days because time goes by faster. It’s just a regular local shop in a busy corner of the city where we do our daily work.
