Natrajan Ro Ice Cubes

Natrajan Ro Ice Cubes is a small operation based at 4, Bharathiyar Street in Manavalanagar. We focus on making ice cubes using RO water. It’s a fairly basic setup in a residential neighborhood, so we try not to make too much noise with the machines early in the morning. We spend most of our time monitoring the filtration system and the bagging process. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we have to load the heavy bags into the delivery vans or for customers who drive up to the door. We aren't a big factory; it's just a local business that grew out of a need for clean ice in this area. Our hands are almost always cold and wet, and the floor usually has some puddles, but that’s the nature of what we do. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy sales team. Most people find us because they live nearby or run a small shop that needs ice for their own customers. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the water clean. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a freezer needs a repair, and we have to fix it ourselves to keep things moving. It's not glamorous work, but it's what we do to earn a living. We’ve been on Bharathiyar Street for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythm of the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and produce the ice cubes every day.
