At Mahaveer Banker Jewellery & Cellular, we do things a bit differently by handling both jewelry and mobile phones. We are located at No 126/10 on Yadhaval Street in Padi. It’s a local neighborhood spot, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The shop isn’t huge, but we make use of the space we have. On one side we have the jewelry and on the other, the cellular stuff. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for us. We aren't fancy people and our shop reflects that. It’s a practical place for the people of Padi to come when they need something. Yadhaval Street is usually quite busy with people going about their business. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most of our customers are folks who live nearby and just walk over. We talk to them like neighbors because that’s what they are. Some days we are busy with jewelry repairs and other days it’s all about phones. We just take it as it comes. We don’t have any grand plans to change the world. We just want to run our shop and provide for our families. It’s an honest way to live. We’ve been part of this street for years and we know the rhythms of the area. If you’re in Padi, you probably know where we are. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to come in.
