If you head out towards Manali New Town and follow Ponneri Road, you will find us at Vaikadu Village. Line Furniture Pvt Ltd is located at number 123/3, and it's a bit of a different world out here compared to the city center. It is much more industrial and open. We spend our days surrounded by the sounds of the workshop and the trucks moving on the main road. The air is often filled with the smell of cut wood and a bit of dust, which is just part of the job when you’re dealing with furniture all day. Our space is quite large because we need the room for assembly and storage. It isn't a polished showroom with carpets; it’s more of a working environment where things actually get made. We wear comfortable clothes and stay busy with the tools and the timber. The sun can be quite harsh out in Manali, so we try to get the heaviest work done in the cooler morning hours. We don't see many random walk-ins because of where we are located, so most of our visitors are people who have specifically come out to see us about an order. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but there is something good about seeing a piece of furniture finished at the end of the day. We just pack up when the light starts to fade and head back.
