Kalli Inudstires

The workshop is over at 25 Tass Industrial Avenue in Ambattur. It gets pretty loud here once the machines start running in the morning. Most days, we are just focused on getting the orders ready and making sure the metal pieces are cut right. The floor usually has some metal shavings on it by noon, no matter how much we sweep. It is just the way it is in an industrial area like this. We have been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but work keeps us busy enough that we don't really think about it. Most of us have been working together for years. We know who takes their tea with extra sugar and who prefers it black. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lane outside, and we have to help them navigate. It is a lot of hard work, but it feels good to see the finished products stacked up and ready to go. The afternoon heat can be a bit much, but the fans keep the air moving. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just making parts that people need. It is a regular job with regular people. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them on the fly. That is just part of the daily routine at Kalli Inudstires. We stay until the job is done and the machines are finally wiped down for the night.
