We are based out of No F43 in the Sipcot Industrial Park at Katrambakkam. It is part of the Sriperumbudur area, which is full of factories and workshops just like ours. Being in an industrial park means we are surrounded by noise and big trucks moving around all day. Our building is a simple structure where we keep our machinery and tools. We do various engineering tasks, mostly involving metal work and parts manufacturing. It isn't a clean or quiet environment. There’s usually the sound of cutting or welding going on in the background. We have a group of workers who have been with us for quite a while. They know the machines inside out. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the park or nearby industrial zones. The commute out to Sriperumbudur can be long for some of us, but this is where the work is. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It is just the reality of running a shop in a place like this. We focus on getting the dimensions right and finishing the orders on time. It’s honest, heavy work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep the gears turning and handle the day as it comes.
