Black Stone Granites

You can find us at number 120 in the Palakkal area of Velimukku. We have been working with granites here in Malappuram for quite some time now. The yard is usually full of heavy slabs. They take up a lot of space and require a lot of muscle to move around. We spend a lot of time outside, no matter if it is raining or the sun is beating down on us. It’s honest work and we like it. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle the stone without breaking anything. Every piece of granite is a bit different, which is interesting if you look at the patterns long enough. We mostly talk to local builders and folks who are fixing up their kitchens or bathrooms. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay a bit longer to get everything sorted and unloaded. The roads around here can be narrow, so navigating the big delivery vehicles is always a bit of a challenge for the drivers. We try to keep the place tidy, but with stone cutting and moving, there’s always some grit and dust on the floor. It’s just the nature of what we do at Black Stone Granites. We don't make things sound bigger than they are. We have the stone, we have the tools, and we have the space to work. Most days are about checking the quality of what comes in. It's a simple life and we like being part of the Velimukku community.
