Our hardware store is located in Pariyapuram, which is part of the Pachattiri area in Malappuram. It’s a local spot where people from the village and nearby towns come when they need tools, nails, or building supplies. We’ve got a lot of items crammed into the shop, from heavy hammers to small screws that are hard to find. It’s often a bit dusty because of the cement bags and the open door, but that’s normal for a hardware place. We know most of the faces that walk through the door, as news travels fast in this part of Kerala. The shop is a bit of a meeting point sometimes, where people stop to talk about their construction projects or just the weather. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here in Pariyapuram. The shelves are high and sometimes we have to use a rickety ladder to reach the stuff at the top. We try to keep everything in order, but when it gets busy, things can get a little messy. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here, even if we are a private limited company on paper. We just want to make sure the local builders have what they need to finish their houses. It’s a steady life, and we like being part of the community here.
