Sri Raja Granites

At 46 Sri Krishna Nagar Road in K Chettipalayam, we run Sri Raja Granites. It is a quiet enough street most of the time, which is nice for a place that handles so much heavy stone. We have been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The yard is filled with slabs of granite that we’ve brought in from different places. It’s hard, physical work moving these things around, and we don't use a lot of fancy gadgets to do it. Mostly it’s just us and some basic lifting gear. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work. People from K Chettipalayam usually know where we are. We don't have a big office, so if you come looking for us, we’ll probably be out in the sun near the back of the property. The stone can get quite hot in the afternoon, so we try to be careful. Sometimes we have to move things several times just to get to the piece someone wants to see. It’s part of the routine. We don't spend much time on the phone or computer; we’d rather be out there with the material. It’s a simple business, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders.
