Jemmraj Hardware

Jemmraj Hardware is over at 34 Sabari Street in the Binny Compound area. We are quite close to Sabari Jewellery, which is a big shop that everyone knows around here. Our street is a bit narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if two cars try to pass each other right in front of the door. Inside, we have a lot of hardware items piled up on shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s a bit dark in the back of the shop, but we have lived and worked here long enough to find things by touch if we have to. We get a lot of locals who live in the compound coming in for light bulbs, hammers, or plumbing supplies. It’s a friendly enough place, and we usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. We don't have any fancy marketing or big signs. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. The counter is old wood and it’s seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days helping people figure out what size screw they need or which pipe will fit their sink. It’s nothing glamorous, just a neighborhood hardware store trying to stay busy and keep the shelves full. We like being part of the Sabari Street community and seeing the same faces every day.
