Our place is at No:29G in Knk Nagar, right in Sulur. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city. Globuz International sounds like a big name, but we are just a small team working out of this building. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people overseas, which is funny because outside the window it’s just the usual Sulur street life. There’s a tea shop around the corner where we usually go when the internet acts up or we just need a walk. We handle the shipping and the paperwork for a lot of different items. Most of the time, the office is filled with the sound of the printer going off or someone arguing with a courier company. It’s not a shiny corporate building with a lobby. It’s just rooms filled with files and some old furniture that’s seen better days. We’ve been here in Knk Nagar for a bit and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit out front for a bit until it comes back. That’s just part of being here. We focus on getting the exports right so nobody gets stuck at customs. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking details. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work from this corner of Sulur and keep things moving along.
