You will find Victor Impex over at No. 122 Shanmuga Nagar, specifically on Pillayar Kovil Street in the Valayankadu area. We have been running this impex business out of this location for several years. It is a family-run kind of place, where everyone chips in with whatever needs doing. One day we might be checking the inventory, and the next we are at the bank sorting out letters of credit. We are not a huge operation with a bunch of departments. If you call us, you are likely talking to the person who is actually packing the boxes or signing the forms. We like it that way because it keeps things clear. The street can get a bit noisy during festival times because of the temple, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We handle both imports and exports, mostly focusing on materials that the local industries need. We do not have a glossy brochure or a big sales team. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time and people know who we are. It is a lot of early mornings and late nights, especially when we have to talk to people in different time zones. We just keep our heads down and focus on the logistics.
