You can find Abimathi Overseas over at No. 1/2 Sivasakthi Nagar, which is near Chellam Nagar Perivu. It’s a decent spot for what we do. We mostly focus on getting goods ready for overseas trips. It sounds more exciting than it actually is because most of the day is just checking labels and making sure boxes are taped up tight. We started this because we knew a few people who needed help getting their products out of the country. It’s just a small team here. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, you’ll just find one of us in the back checking inventory. The area around Sivasakthi Nagar is usually busy, so there’s always something going on outside. We’ve had to learn the hard way about how to handle different types of cargo. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and there’s not much we can do but wait and keep our customers updated. We don't use any fancy software, just some old-fashioned ledger books and a computer that’s seen better days. It works for us though. We like the local feel of the neighborhood. People stop by to chat sometimes when they see the door open. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s practical work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We’re just regular people trying to run a straightforward business without any fuss.
