If you find yourself on Kumaran Ginning Road in the Bharathi Nagar area, that’s where we are. Our address is No. 4/440- 1, near the Veerapandi post office. Sabarina Impex has been operating out of this space for quite a while now. It’s a practical location for what we do. We handle various import and export tasks, which basically means a lot of waiting on emails and talking to drivers. The road can get quite busy with the ginning mills and other businesses nearby. It feels very industrial and hardworking around here, which suits us just fine. We don't have a polished front office with a receptionist; usually, it’s just one of us getting up to see who’s at the door. We spend a lot of our time looking at manifests and checking on freight schedules. It’s the kind of work that requires staying focused on the small details. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but we just wipe it off and keep going. Being near the post office in Veerapandi is handy for the stuff we have to mail out regularly. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood and the people who pass by every day. We just focus on our own tasks and make sure the shipments we are responsible for get where they are supposed to go. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town.
