Being located right here on 2nd Cross off College Road makes things pretty convenient for us. At Tharani Immpex, our days are usually filled with the sound of traffic passing by outside and the constant clicking of keyboards. We have a small office at No. 5, and it’s usually filled with samples and shipping documents scattered around. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The morning starts with a lot of tea and a quick talk about what needs to go out first. We spend a lot of time dealing with various suppliers and making sure the counts are right. College Road is a busy area, so we often have to time our shipments so the trucks don't get stuck in the midday mess. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, sometimes on the phone and sometimes just shouting across the room to each other. We’ve got a couple of old desks that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose well enough. We don't really do anything too flashy here. It’s just about keeping the items moving and making sure the paperwork matches up with what’s in the boxes. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and other times we manage to head home early. It's just the way this kind of work goes. We've been here a while and the neighbors all know us by now. It’s a simple, steady routine that keeps the business going day after day.
