Mmuniyandi Raising

We operate out of the Src Mill Compound on Bss Road. It’s a bit of an old industrial area, but it works for what we do. We focus on raising, which takes up most of our time and energy. There’s always a lot of movement in the compound. Trucks coming and going, people shifting supplies. It can get pretty noisy during the middle of the day. We’ve got our routine down now, though. We start early to beat the heat. It’s just a small operation here at No. 15a/59. We don't have any big signs or anything. People who need us usually know where to find us. We've had to learn a lot of things the hard way over the years. Some days things go smoothly, and other days it feels like everything is going wrong at once. That's just how it is when you're working with living things. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. We rely on our hands and our experience. It's honest work and it keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time just checking on the progress of what we’re raising. It’s not a complicated business, just one that requires you to show up every single day without fail. Sometimes the dust from the mill compound gets everywhere, but you just clean it up and keep going. We are just regular people doing our job.
