Rathan Impex

Rathan Impex is located at 29/30 E1st Street in R. V. E. Nagar, just off Kangayam Road. It’s a convenient spot for us to work. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are kind of steep if you're carrying boxes. We’ve been working out of here for years. We deal with importing and exporting different types of goods. It’s mostly about coordinating between the suppliers and the shipping agents. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need to do. The office is usually filled with the sound of the printer going off. We don't have any fancy decorations. Just some old photos and a few dusty shelves with old ledgers. We like the area because it’s easy for the trucks to get in and out of the street. Sometimes we have lunch together at the small stall down the street. We’re a small team, and we don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to do a good job so people come back to us again. It’s practical, everyday work. Dealing with the port authorities can be a real headache sometimes, but we’ve learned how to handle it over time. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just stay here in R. V. E. Nagar and keep the business running as best as we can.
