Faisal Leather Creations

Our place, Faisal Leather Creations, is located at 309/1462 on P.J. Nehru Road in Vaniyambadi. If you know Vaniyambadi, you know this area is basically the heart of the leather world around here. P.J. Nehru Road is always packed with trucks and people moving goods. Our building is a bit old, and the numbers on the door are a little faded, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where we are. We spend most of our time at the back where the actual work happens. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of cutting or stitching going on. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets to be a lot, so we slow down a bit then. We aren't a big corporation with fancy desks. We have wooden tables and old chairs and plenty of scraps on the floor. Most of us have been working with leather since we were teenagers. It’s a tough job on the fingers, but it pays the bills. Vaniyambadi has a certain smell to it because of all the tanneries and workshops, and we are right in the middle of it. We just focus on the orders we have for the week and try to get them finished. No one here wears a suit. We wear old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. It’s just honest work on a busy street. We've been at 309/1462 for years now and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
