Defence

Our business, simply called Defence, is located at 7B, 2nd A.M. Street in the Bose Pet area of Gudiyattam. We are in the Vellore District of Tamil Nadu, 632602. It’s a busy little street and we are right in the middle of it. The shop or office is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Being in Bose Pet means there is a lot of foot traffic and noise from the nearby market areas. We handle various goods and services under the name Defence, and our day usually starts early to beat the Vellore heat. The building is an older one, typical for this part of Gudiyattam, and we’ve tried to keep it functional for our needs. We don’t spend money on big signs or shiny floors. We just focus on the customers who walk through the door. Sometimes the street gets blocked by carts or delivery vans, which is just life in a busy Tamil Nadu town. We have a small team here, and we all know each other well. Most of our day is spent talking to locals and managing our stock or paperwork. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and do our work until it’s time to go home. It’s just how things are done here on 2nd A.M. Street. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and plan to stay here.
