Sri Vishnu And Co. is tucked away on Patnool Street in Chittoor, at Door No. 4-1-165. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and lots of character. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of history. Working on Patnool Street is different from being on a main highway; it’s a bit more personal because you see the same faces every day. Our space is filled with whatever we are trading at the time, and it can get a bit cramped if we have a big delivery arrive. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us, the ledger, and the goods we sell. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a cart or a delivery van, and everyone has to wait, but that’s just how life is in this part of Chittoor. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who come in, often about more than just business. It’s a friendly way to work. The shop can be a bit dark inside because of the old architecture, but we have enough light to see what we are doing. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the street, the morning sweepers, and the evening rush when people are heading home. It is just a simple, local business where we try to be fair and get through the day’s tasks without too much trouble.
