Gayathri Jr College

Gayathri Jr College is located right here on the stretch between Chittoor and Chennai. We’ve been here in this part of Tamil Nadu for quite some time, helping young people get through those tough intermediate years. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have. No big bells or whistles, just classrooms and teachers who show up every morning ready to work. We know how much pressure there is on students these days so we try to keep the environment steady. Our staff lives around here too, so we’re all part of the same community. The building gets plenty of sun and we try to keep the fans running during those hot afternoons. It’s not always quiet, especially when classes are changing, but that’s just how it is with a bunch of teenagers. We deal with the usual stuff like lost pens, exam stress, and making sure everyone stays on track with their studies. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local college trying to help kids get their certificates so they can move on to whatever is next for them. Most days involve a lot of tea, a lot of talking to parents, and making sure the syllabus is moving along. It’s hard work but it’s what we do here in Chittoor. We’ve seen many batches come and go over the years, and it's nice to see them grow up. It is just what we do every day and we hope it helps out the local families.
