Bharathi Vidya Mandir

Our school is tucked away at 15-12-66/1 in Chittoor. If you know the area, it's not hard to find. Bharathi Vidya Mandir has been standing here for years, and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. Every morning the bell rings and the street gets filled with kids in their uniforms. Some are walking, others are on cycles. We don’t have a huge campus with a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s mostly just classrooms and a small area where they play during the break. The desks have names carved into them from students who left a decade ago. We keep things pretty simple. The teachers have their own little room where they sit and mark papers while drinking tea. It’s a bit cramped in there, honestly. In the rainy season, we have to watch out for leaks in the older part of the roof. People in the neighborhood know us well. They often stop by to chat with the watchman or ask about admissions. It’s not a corporate setup. We know most of the parents by their names. Sometimes the chalk dust gets everywhere, and the blackboards need a good scrub. But it works for us. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids stay out of trouble. It's a local spot for local families here in Chittoor. We are just a regular school doing our part day by day.
