Brain Softwares

We are located in Puttur, which is a nice change of pace from the bigger cities. At Brain Softwares, the day-to-day life is mostly quiet. We have our computers set up in a simple room that doesn't have much else in it besides some chairs and a few old books. We spend our hours writing code and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It is a lot of staring at screens and drinking tea. Sometimes we walk outside to get some air and look at the trees. Puttur is the kind of place where you know your neighbors, so people often stop by just to say hello even if they don't need any software. We don't have a big team or a human resources department. It’s just a few of us who know how to build programs and fix technical issues. The office stays relatively cool because of the way the building was built. We don't use any fancy project management tools, we just talk to each other across the room. It’s a very direct way of working. Sometimes we stay late into the night when we are close to finishing something. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We like being tucked away here rather than being in a crowded office park.
