Seasonal Herbs

Seasonal Herbs is located at 42, S P G Koil Street, right on the Palayamkottai Road. It’s a busy street with lots of traffic passing by all day. When you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell—it's a mix of all the different dried plants and roots we keep in stock. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. It's more of a traditional setup where everything is stored in bags and jars. I started this because I always had an interest in what grows around us. Now, it’s a full-time job that keeps me busy from morning till night. My nephew helps me with the heavier bags, and we have a lady who helps us sort the herbs when they come in. We get stuff from all over, depending on what time of year it is. The shop can get quite messy when we are processing a new shipment, with leaves and bits of bark all over the floor. We don't use any fancy marketing. People usually find us because they’re looking for something specific that the bigger stores don't carry. It’s a simple life, and we like the pace of it. We take our time with each person who comes in, explaining what we have and where it came from. It's not a big business, but it's ours, and we like being on Palayamkottai Road. We keep the tradition alive.
