You can find S A K Dental Hospital at No 3 Iswarya Complex on S T C Road, over in the A C Pet area of Perumalpuram. Being inside a complex means we have neighbors all around us, and it gets pretty lively. It’s a dental hospital, so it has that specific smell of cleaning supplies and dental materials that everyone recognizes. Some people find it a bit intimidating, but we’re just used to it by now. The waiting room has some chairs that are getting a bit old and a pile of magazines that have been read a hundred times. We try to keep things on schedule, but dentistry is unpredictable and sometimes a tooth takes longer to fix than we expected. We aren't part of any big chain or corporate group. It's just a local place where we know many of the patients by their first names because they live right here in Perumalpuram. The stairs up to our unit are a bit narrow, so people have to be careful. We have our drills and the big reclining chairs and all the regular tools of the trade. It gets a bit noisy when we are working, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t use any marketing speak or try to sound more important than we are. We’re just here to do the work and help people out with their teeth. It’s a regular business run by regular people who’ve been here a while.
