You can find Psa Components at No:2, M G P Sannathi Street in Pettai. We have been in this location for a good while now. The shop is filled with small drawers and boxes because we deal with so many different types of electronic components. If you are looking for a specific capacitor or a resistor, we probably have it tucked away somewhere in a corner. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the local shops. It is a bit of an old building, so the ceilings are high but the space is narrow. We have a counter at the front where we talk to customers. A lot of the people who come in are hobbyists or students working on their own projects. We also get technicians who need a part quickly to finish a job. It is a lot of manual work, counting out small parts and putting them into little bags. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so we rely on knowing our inventory by heart. The air in the shop always smells a bit like dust and electronics, which is something we have gotten used to over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time. It is a practical business and we like the direct way we deal with people every day. There is no corporate talk here, just parts and prices.
