Pathi Coconut Industries

Pathi Coconut Industries is situated at 14/29 in Anandasamypuram. It’s near the Manikattipottal Post, which is how most people find their way to us. This is an industrial area, so it’s not very pretty to look at. We have a lot of space for our machines and the raw materials. Coconuts are what we know best. My father started things out and we just kept it going. The equipment we use is old but it still works fine if you take care of it. The floor is usually covered in fiber and shells. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just talk to the people who buy our products directly. Most of our customers are other businesses who need what we process. It’s noisy here during the day with the machines running. We take our breaks under the shade of the trees outside. It’s a regular routine—start early, finish late, and make sure the orders are ready for the trucks. Sometimes we have issues with the machines breaking down, and we have to fix them ourselves. It’s a practical life. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a coconut processing unit in a quiet part of town, doing the same thing we’ve done for years. There’s no need to overcomplicate how we describe our daily work here because the product speaks for itself when it leaves our gate.
