Nagaraja Rice Mill

You can find Nagaraja Rice Mill over at No: 4/74 on Munna Main Road in Kurichikottai. It’s a noisy place because the machines are usually running most of the day. Processing rice isn't a quiet job, but we've gotten used to the sound over the years. We get a lot of local farmers bringing in their harvests. It’s a basic setup. We have the milling area and a place to store the bags before they go out. Kurichikottai is the kind of place where people know their neighbors, so we see a lot of familiar faces. We aren't some massive corporation with a bunch of branches. We’re just here on Munna Main Road doing what we know how to do. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust, and there’s always something that needs oiling or adjusting. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny offices. The money goes into keeping the mill running and paying the guys who work here. Some days are longer than others, especially during the harvest season when everyone wants their rice processed at once. We just take it as it comes. It's honest work, and it keeps the village fed and moving. That’s the way we like it. No big fuss, just Nagaraja Rice Mill doing its part in the community.
