M K Offset

Our shop is at 3 3, Perumal West Car Street, right near the Tirunelveli Junction. It’s a very busy part of town, especially being so close to the Ganesh Complex. You can always hear the traffic and the people moving about outside. We have been operating the offset machines here for a good while. The floor is usually covered with scraps of paper and the smell of cleaning solvent is quite strong in the mornings. We do a lot of work for local businesses and people who need things printed. The car street gets really crowded during festival times, and sometimes it’s hard to even get to the front door because of the processions. We have these big machines that take up most of the space, so it’s a bit tight when we have a lot of paper stock delivered. The light inside isn’t the brightest, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time adjusting the rollers and checking the ink flow to make sure everything comes out legible. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy stacks and feeding them into the press. Sometimes we have tea from the stall nearby while waiting for a big run to finish. It’s a steady routine here in the heart of the junction, and we just keep the machines running day after day. Printing is just a way of life for us now and we like the street we are on.
