You can find Avis Software over at Plot No. 182/53 in Industrial Area-I. It might seem strange to have a software place in the middle of an industrial zone, but it works for us. The building is a solid concrete block and we share the area with people making car parts and furniture. Inside, it’s just a bunch of computers and some very old chairs that we really should replace one day. There are cables running along the floor and taped down so nobody trips. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and see us hunched over our screens. It’s mostly quiet, just the clicking of keyboards and the hum of the server in the back room. We spend a lot of time arguing over bits of code or why the printer isn't working again. Industrial Area-I can get pretty busy with trucks, so parking is always a bit of a headache near Plot 182/53. We’ve got a small kettle for making instant coffee and that’s about as fancy as it gets here. It’s a basic office where we just focus on getting the logic right. No one here wears a tie unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We’re just regular people doing technical work in a plain industrial plot.
