Our office is located at 102/47E on Chockkalinga Vinayagarkovil Street in Thisaiyanvilai. Thisaiyanvilai is a place where people generally know each other and the street names usually come from the local temples. Asthivaara Construction Private Limited is just a small firm based here. We spend our time working on various construction tasks around the town and the nearby villages. The office is a modest space where we sit and talk to clients about their houses or shops. It is not a corporate environment at all. Usually there is someone coming in to ask a question or a worker checking on their schedule. Chockkalinga Vinayagarkovil Street is often busy with people going to the temple or the market. We are just one of the local businesses trying to do a decent job with the resources we have. Building things here means knowing how the local soil behaves and which season is best for pouring concrete. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sound like we are bigger than we are. We are just people from this area who know how to build. It involves a lot of sweat and standing out in the sun but that is the nature of construction. We like being part of the community and seeing the buildings we worked on being used by our neighbors every day.
