Working out of the 3rd floor on Gurunathan Street has its ups and downs. Mostly ups if you count the three flights of stairs I have to climb every single morning. You just have to take it slow on the way up. It’s right off Patabiraman Road here in Trichy. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it works for what we need. It’s pretty central, so getting around isn't too bad unless the traffic is acting up, which is pretty much every evening. The office is just a couple of rooms where we keep all our stuff. It gets hot in the afternoons since we’re high up, but we keep the fans going. I’ve been in Trichy for years and decided to set this up because I wanted to do something local. It started small and stayed that way, which I actually prefer. There’s no huge team here, just a few of us trying to get through the daily tasks without too much stress. Sometimes we grab lunch from the place around the corner and just talk about whatever. It’s not some high-tech operation with fancy gear. We use what we have and try to do a decent job of it. You can hear the street noise all day long, which keeps things from being too quiet. People come and go, deliveries arrive, and we just keep the momentum going. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office, which is fine by me.
