Our spot is located at 64, Palakkarai. It is a busy little area and we have been operating out of this building for a long time. The street outside is always moving with people and local traffic, so there is never a dull moment. Inside, we have set things up to be as useful as possible. It is an engineering office, so you will see a lot of drawings spread out on the tables and some old equipment sitting in the corners. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us hunched over a project or talking on the phone. The walls have a few scuff marks from moving furniture around, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We have a small stove in the back to make tea, and that is usually where we congregate around mid-morning. The light coming through the front windows is pretty good in the morning, which helps when we are looking at small parts or fine prints. We keep a fairly regular schedule, though sometimes we stay late if a project is giving us trouble. It is a simple, no-nonsense environment where we can just focus on the engineering tasks at hand. Most people in Palakkarai know where we are if they need to stop by for a quick word or to drop something off.
