There are plenty of shops around us, so getting lunch or finding a hardware store isn't hard at all. Our office is pretty functional; we have our desks and our computers and not much else. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing where everyone wears a suit. Usually, we just wear what’s comfortable for the heat. When people come in to talk about a project, we just sit down and go over the details without any big presentation. We focus on the practical side of things because that is what engineering is actually about. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of consultancy work piled up, but we manage. Nelson Road is a good place to be based, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just make it work and try to be helpful to those who come in to see us.
