Mani Exports

Our place is at No. 38 in the Chandra Nagar Extension over in Srirangam. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main temple side of town. Mani Exports has been running out of this building for some time. We handle different shipments going out, and there’s always a bit of a rush when a deadline is coming up. The street is usually calm, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on numbers. We have a small team here. Sometimes the cows wander into the lane and block the gate, but that’s just how it is around here. We don't do anything too complicated, just making sure everything is packed right and the addresses are correct. If you come by, you might see us drinking tea on the front step around four. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything. We just focus on the containers and making sure they get to the port on time. Sometimes the rains make the road a bit messy, but we still get the work done regardless. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the shipping delays, but we just wait it out. The phone rings all day long with people asking about their orders and where things are.
