Sri Vinayaga Stores

Being located right near the Post Office on Sivamangalam Road means we get to see a lot of people throughout the day. Sri Vinayaga Stores is situated at number 321. It is a very convenient spot for anyone who is out doing their morning chores or picking up mail. We have been here for so long that the building feels more like home than a place of work. The walls have a few scuffs and might need some paint, but they are solid. We stock a little bit of everything that a person might need in a hurry. Most of the time, it is just us behind the counter, chatting with whoever happens to walk through the door. Some of our customers stay for ten minutes just to talk about the rain or the local news. It makes the day go by a lot faster. The road outside can get quite loud with the scooters and trucks, especially during the middle of the day. We don't do any marketing or have big posters in the window. People just know we are here when they need something. We keep our extra stock tucked into the back corners and on the high shelves. We have an old wooden ladder we use to reach the top. It is a bit creaky but it hasn't let us down yet. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years, but our store stays mostly the same.
