Sri Vidhya Signs

Our shop is at 3/33A on the Chennai Trunk Road in Koothur. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near Chettiyar Maligai, which is a big landmark around here. Sri Vidhya Signs is a local operation, and we’ve been at this address for a long time. The road outside is always busy with trucks and cars heading towards the city, so it’s never really quiet. We do all our sign work right here in the shop. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we have a lot of metal, paint, and boards lying around. We don't have a showroom or a fancy place for customers to sit. Most people just stand in the doorway or come back into the work area to show us what they need. It’s a very hands-on environment. We get quite a bit of dust from the main road, so we are constantly cleaning off our workspaces. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and get the signs looking right. We don't do much advertising ourselves, as most people just see our sign on the Trunk Road and pull over. It’s a practical way to work. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad and keep going until the light fades. It’s just regular work for regular people who need things made.
