Sri Saravana Store

Sri Saravana Store is right at 33 Vanigar Street. Most people just say we are near the bus stand because that’s the easiest way to tell someone where to go. Being so close to the bus stand means we get a lot of people passing by all day long. It's a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We’ve been here for years, and the street hasn't changed much in that time. The building is a bit old, and the door squeaks sometimes, but it’s home to us. We don't have a fancy website or any of that stuff. We just open up in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a lot of local faces, people we’ve known for a long time. Vanigar Street is always narrow and crowded with bikes and people walking, which makes it feel like a real community. We sell what people need and don't try to push things on anyone. Sometimes the inventory gets a little messy when the new delivery arrives, but we sort it out eventually. There isn't much space to move around when it's busy, but nobody seems to mind. We like the noise of the buses and the general chaos of the street. It makes the day go by faster. If you need anything, just walk down from the station. We’re the shop with the blue door.
