The office is on the second floor of the Meenambigai Complex, so we get a bit of exercise every day going up and down those steps. Trichy can get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. We’ve got fire extinguishers stacked in the corners and some of those big hoses coiled up near the back wall. It isn’t the fanciest place, just a workspace where we deal with the safety gear folks need for their buildings. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the traffic from the road coming through the window while we check the gauges and valves. We’ve been here in Rajappa Nagar for a while now, right in the West part of the area. It gets busy during the mornings when everyone is opening their shops. We usually start by moving things around to make room for any new shipments that arrived the night before. If you’re coming by, you just look for the complex near Ariyamangalam and come on up. Sometimes we’re out on a site visit, but usually, someone is around to answer the door. It’s just us doing the work, making sure things are in order. No big speeches or anything, just keeping the equipment ready. We sit around the small table for tea when it’s quiet, then get back to the valves and sensors to finish the day. It’s a steady job that keeps us busy.
