Our shop is on the ground floor of Mpk Mansion, at number 54 in West Chinthamani. We are right near Teppakulam, so most people in the area know exactly where that is. We do fire and safety engineering work, which sounds a bit technical, but really it’s just about making sure buildings have what they need to stay safe. We’ve got a lot of tools and equipment scattered around the place. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but it’s where we do the planning and the repairs. Being near Teppakulam is great because it’s a central spot. We get a lot of walk-in traffic from people asking about safety systems. Our team is usually out on-site somewhere, but someone is always at the mansion to handle the paperwork. We aren't big on corporate talk. We just tell you what the safety rules are and what kind of engineering is needed for the space. Sometimes we have to deal with old buildings that are hard to fit with new gear, and that’s when the engineering part really comes in handy. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over and over again. We don't mind the hard work as long as the job is done right. We have been here for years and the locals trust us because we are just regular folks doing our jobs and making sure things are done correctly every single time.
