Raja Maligai General Store

Raja Maligai General Store is a small shop at number 22 in Thirukattuputhur. We are very close to the bus stand in Trichy. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people every day. Some are just passing through and others are our regular neighbors. We sell a bit of everything. From soap to rice to small snacks. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot on the shelves. My family has been running this for years. I grew up behind this counter. It’s not a supermarket, just a local general store. We know most of our customers by name. We hear all the local gossip because everyone stops by. The noise from the buses is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We open early and close late. It's hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or a delivery app. If you need something, you just walk in. Trichy is a busy place, and Thirukattuputhur is no exception. We try to keep the staples in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s just a simple life here at number 22. We are just a part of the neighborhood. We don't need a lot of space to provide what people need. We just keep our heads down and keep the shelves stocked for the next customer.
