Om Sri Mayil Vaganam

Our place is at No 87 on Madurai Road in Trichy. If you know the city, you know Madurai Road is one of the main ways people get in and out of town. It’s always loud with the sound of horns and engines. Om Sri Mayil Vaganam has been operating from this spot for a while now. The office is right there on the ground floor, so it’s easy for anyone to just step in off the street. We have a lot of dust coming in from the road, so we are constantly cleaning the desks. It is a very practical setup. We have the maps on the wall and a calendar to keep track of the days. Tiruchirappalli Ho is a busy hub, and being on this road means we see a lot of travelers. We spend most of our time talking to the drivers and checking the fuel prices. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff; we just talk to people face to face. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back. It’s a local way of doing things. We know the guys at the mechanic shop down the road and the petrol bunk nearby. Everything we need is right here in this neighborhood. We stay busy enough just keeping track of all the vehicles going up and down Madurai Road.
