Murugan Sweet & Snacks Shop

We have been running Murugan Sweet & Snacks Shop for a while now at No. 160 on Surukote Main Road. Living and working here in Subra Maniyam Puram is just part of our daily life. Every morning starts quite early because there is a lot to get ready before the first person walks in. We mostly just keep busy with the frying and the sugar syrups. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the Tiruchirappalli weather, but that is just how it goes for us. People stop by when they are heading home from work or if they just want something small to eat for tea. We don't do anything fancy here. It is a simple setup where we focus on the snacks we know how to make. Sometimes the road gets really busy with traffic and noisy bikes, and you can hear the horns all day long from the main road. We know most of the faces that come through the door since they live nearby in the neighborhood. It is a lot of work to keep things stocked up every day and sometimes we run out of the popular things before noon. My family helps out when they can with the packing and cleaning. We just try to get through the orders and make sure the shelves aren't completely empty. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day doing the same things. It is a quiet kind of life even with the noise outside. We just keep the shop open and do the work that needs doing.
