Kaveri Super Market

Kaveri Super Market is situated at 56/23, Ashby Complex, right near the Trichy Junction. Because our location is so close to the junction, we get all sorts of different people coming through our doors at all hours of the day. It is a very busy spot, especially in the late evenings when the trains are coming in and everyone is heading home. We carry a bit of everything here, from basic groceries and toiletries to some plasticware for the kitchen and small snacks. The Ashby Complex is an older building, so we have to stay on top of the maintenance work quite often. It is a lot of effort to keep the aisles clear of boxes when we get a new shipment in from our suppliers. We have a few staff members who have been working with us for many years now. They probably know the stock and the prices better than I do. It is not one of those shiny, modern supermarkets with bright neon lights and air conditioning that makes you shiver. It’s just a practical place for people to get their shopping done without wasting time. We have several regular families from the neighborhood who do their entire weekly shopping here with us. The traffic around Rockins Road can be quite a nightmare during peak hours, but we have gotten used to the constant noise and the hustle of the junction.
